"New Year, New Me"

            Another year have passed and here comes again new one. As New Year comes, some of us have lots of New Year’s Resolution or some change in our life. Some wants to be more better person and some wants to be luckier this time. Some also wants to have a better love life than last year.

           This year 2013, I have three resolutions. First, I will be more serious and focus to my studies so that I can achieve my goals in life. I want to focus more to my studies because last year my performance was not good and I was not satisfied with it. So I will try my best to work hard and study hard to fulfill my dreams. Second resolution is about my loved ones. May God always protect and guide them especially my family and friends. I hope they will always be in good health and they will be far away from any accidents. Last but not the least, I’m asking for God’s help that He may guide me to the right way to the prosperity, love and happiness of life.

            All these resolutions that I’ve wrote have only simple meaning. Be better person, better student, better son, better brother, better friend and better servant to our God. That’s the New Me.

“The True Essence of Christmas”

          Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! This is the happiest season of the year because families were joined together. Whenever this time comes, all of us are very happy and excited. Do you know what the true essence of Christmas is??

       Christmas is all about love, sharing and forgiveness. Christmas is about love. Caring about another over yourself, spending the time to do the little things to make the holiday special for loved ones. It is neither only giving gift to everyone nor only for children. Christmas is about giving love to everyone around you and also for those who hated you. Christmas is about sharing what you have; it is about giving not receiving anything. It’s being kind to one and all too. Christmas is about forgiving those people who have done wrong to you. Christmas is also about togetherness. Being with the people you love, laughing and sharing a meal, sharing happy memories. It is also about the birth of the Man who saved us from death, Jesus Christ. 

              Christmas is a feast that is celebrated once a year. It’s a celebration of light and God's love in the middle of the darkest, coldest time of the year. Let us make that day wonderful.

"Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities"

             All of us were created by God equally. No one of us should be higher than other. Each of us has given similar rights. In our nation, they said it is a democratic country but now, people who have lots of money thought they were the highest ruled us. They manipulated us like a puppet, following whatever they wanted. Some treated the poor like animals. Only because they have power and money they just treat some of us like a dog in the street.
            In finding a job, some employers, when they saw a good looking man or woman they just hired it. They just hired it without inspecting if they are qualified. Also when you’re buying goods or things you need, when the seller saw a person who looks like richer and have more money than you, they will sell it to them even you were actually buying that one. That was a discrimination. They were not giving you your right and opportunity as an individual.

            Each human being was created the same. Let’s be fair to everyone. We must be equal to one another. No discrimination because we were given equal rights and equal opportunities.

Responding To Climate Change

 "WAKE UP!!!"

              Our Mother Earth is a beautiful and amazing world. God created it for us. It gives us fresh air, clean water and more. We need everything in this world to live. Our world is very important and useful to us.

      As of now, many countries were suffering or encountering lots of problems and some of these problems are the effects of Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming. We are experiencing hot temperature of our surroundings   because of the destruction of ozone layer. Floods were formed because of the garbage we thrown. Animals are dying because the mountains where they stay were bald and destroyed. Lots of people are dying because of the diseases we get from waste. The heat from the sun is not normal and if there’s a rain, some places easily flooded. Our world is experiencing climate changes that may lead to the destruction of it. We have to do something to save our Mother Earth.

              The condition of our beloved Mother Earth is not a joke. If we still continue our bad habits and not giving importance to this problem, our world may result to a total destruction and all of us may die soon. We have to unite and discipline ourselves to save our Mother Earth. God created us not destroy His creatures but to take care of it.

Reflection in 2nd Grading

"DAY BY DAY"

        There's a saying that “People change”. As times goes on, everything may change. Sometimes the good will be better and sometimes the bad become worst. Day by day you will observe some changes. Changes in your surroundings, in your friends and even in yourself.

       Days passed I observed many things especially in myself. There are lots of changes from me now. One of it is my knowledge regarding to the world of technology. Day by day I gained knowledge from my teachers especially to my TLE teachers. My knowledge about the computer became wider because of them, because of what they teach to us.

        In this quarter I learned how to use the HTML. I learned what is the importance of it. The tag attributes, font attributes and more. I think this topic is going to be more exciting.

                

"SCIENTRICITY: ENERGIZING SCIENCE CLUBBERS FOR SUSTAINABLE ENERGY"

There are lots of ways to save on electricity. All it takes is a little effort and some plain common sense on our part. You don’t have to be an electrician or an engineer to implement some of these techniques. In fact, if you look around your house and be conscious of your habits at home, you will discover lots of ways on how you can save money on your electric bill. But before we go through some of the ways to save on electricity, you have to realize that everything always start within ourselves. It takes discipline and a small amount of sacrifice on our part if we want to significantly lessen our electric consumption. Furthermore, you have to understand that this is a household effort, which means getting the cooperation of your family is essential in making this a successful endeavor.

Conserving electricity or energy is easy if we are willing to do it. We just have to discipline our self on using our things or use it wisely. Electricity is very important to humans so let’s conserve electricity for the next generation.

"MY TEACHER, MY HERO"

    

   What is hero? Hero is someone who is admired for doing something very brave and good. Hero means helping someone or saving people. Hero can see everywhere. A hero is not only those who have powers. An ordinary person can be a hero.

        Teachers, they are called the builders. They built the doctors, engineers, nurses, and other workers. Without teachers, there will be no lawyers,etc.  Teachers teach us to be a better man. They teach us for our future. They help us to be a successful person in life. To be a good citizen in our community. They are also our guardian. They are our next or second parent. They teach us everything that we should know.

        We need someone to help us achieve our goals. We need a person who will guide us to supersede our dreams. Teachers is our helper and the guide to conquer. Teachers is our hero
